Body Sculpt:
Slow, controlled exercises performed on or off a step using hand-held weights, resistance tubing and body bars. This class is designed to build lean muscle mass, muscle definition and total-body toning. Aerobic training aids in increasing cardiovascular endurance and fat loss, but resistance training is essential to increase the metabolism and change body composition. All levels of fitness benefit greatly from this class. (return to top of list)

Boot Camp:
Intense cardio and muscular endurance drills. The duration of these drills is either determined by repetitions or timed intervals, making this class very goal-oriented. There is little to no choreography involved so you can focus on form, intensity and work at your own pace. All levels will be challenged! (return to top of list)

Cardio Fitness:
A floor cardio class which can be done with either high or low impact. Lower impact usually means a lower intensity class, while higher impact leads to a higher intensity. It consists of intermediate to advanced choreography and is extremely fast-paced. This non-stop hour guarantees to leave you dripping with sweat. (return to top of list)

Cardio Sculpt:
This class consists of 50 minutes of traditional Hi/Lo (floor cardio) combinations alternated with Body Sculpting exercises. It is perfect for all fitness levels. The class finishes with core work and stretching. The heart rate stays elevated after the cardio so the weight training has added benefits. (return to top of list)

Core Challenge:
Beginning to intermediate exercises performed on a mat or bench intended to strengthen the core. The core consists of the abdominals, obliques, lower back, glutes, and hip flexors. (return to top of list)

Core Training:
Using resistance such as hand weights and tubing, intermediate to advanced exercises for the core usually performed on a bench. This class is intended to not only build strength, but to tone and define the muscles of the core. (return to top of list)

Cycle:
Featured exclusively at our Canyon Park and Lake City facilities, this 55-minute indoor cycling class is performed on stationary bikes. Resistance is added or subtracted to simulate the steepness of a hill or the roughness of a terrain. Various drills are performed such as hills, valleys, intervals, powerful flats and sprints. Clips for cycle shoes and stirrups for tennis shoes prevent unnecessary impact and can prevent joint injury that might occur with other types of aerobic exercise. Cycling is perfect for all levels of fitness. Sign-up is required at the front desk up to 3-days in advance. Bring a sweat towel, you will POUR! (return to top of list)

Gentle Yoga:
Milder postures or postures with modifications meant to be soft on the joints and muscles. Although ideal for the beginner, pregnant or mature adult, this is also a perfect class for rehabilitation, treatment for a long day, or a simple rejuvenation. (return to top of list)

Low Impact:
Beginning to intermediate choreography in a combination format. Perfect for the beginner, pregnant or the mature adult because one foot remains in contact with the floor at all times, helping with balance and decreasing the impact on the joints. Intensity varies by participant: a larger range of motion means a higher intensity. (return to top of list)

Interval Body Sculpt/Total Fat Burn:
Bouts of intense cardio drills are alternated with slower, more controlled resistance training. The speed and intensity of the drills are dictated by your fitness level and goals. Basic choreography makes this class perfect for beginning and experienced group exercisers alike. (return to top of list)

Pilates:
A series of exercises performed on a mat intended to support and restore the natural curve of the spine. The movements create the need for stabilization, building a stronger central core. Pilates helps achieve strength, flexibility and endurance. It’s benefits include longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from back pain and better posture. Pilates heightens mind-to-body awareness and improves balance and coordination. All fitness levels will benefit tremendously from this class. (return to top of list)

Seniorcize/Seniorcize Ball:
Specific exercises designed for mature adult ladies and gentlemen. Bone density, muscle mass, and cardiovascular endurance decrease with age so this class includes work that helps to counteract this process. It includes exercises for all major and minor muscle groups, addressing strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, balance, coordination and agility. Bring your own exercise ball to build more balance. Keep an active lifestyle and have fun while doing it! (return to top of list)

Step:
A combination-based class, with intermediate to advanced choreography performed on a traditional Step bench. To adjust intensity, simply change the height of the bench: The higher the Step, the higher the intensity. The affects of the Step include sculpted legs and a toned bottom. This class will keep your mind busy while your body works hard. Not recommended for beginners. (return to top of list)

Step Sculpt:
50 minutes of Step combinations alternated with Body Sculpting exercises, the best of both worlds! The class finishes with core work and stretching. The heart rate stays elevated after the cardio so the weight training has added benefits. (return to top of list)

Total Ball:
Exclusively at our Canyon location, this class features total body toning using exercise balls. The ball’s round, mobile surface forces the core muscles to work harder to maintain balance. The ball enables you to work more muscle groups with more efficiency for faster results. Some exercises include hand weights for added resistance. (return to top of list)

TurboKick®:
This class is perfect for all levels of intensity. Each move of the choreography (“shadow” boxing and mixed martial arts) helps to RE-SHAPE the body. This class burns calories while building lean muscle mass and strengthening the core. The beginner can join the class with complete confidence and the advanced participant simply kicks higher and jabs harder to achieve a higher intensity. (return to top of list)

Yoga:
A set of poses and physical exercises to relax and calm the body and breath work to focus the mind. Yoga postures bring strength to weak areas of the body and soften the tight spots. This type of practice beautifully connects the mind-to-body awareness. Finding your center in a pose encourages you to find your center in life. After practicing Yoga, you will feel warm, loose, relaxed, calm and more focused amidst life’s distractions. (return to top of list)

Yoga Basics:
Focuses on mastering the deep Yoga Breath and correct body positioning of basic standing and seated postures. This class is wonderful for those participants in the beginning of their Yoga practice. (return to top of list)

Yoga - Level 2:
A continuous sequence of postures that moves past the basic postures. The fluid transitions help to increase balance and focus. This class is perfect for those with a deep understanding of Yoga fundamentals and who already practice in correct form. (return to top of list)
